SVLL Youth Umpire Program

Snoqualmie Valley Little League supports a Youth Umpire program with the goal to provide umpire coverage across Upper Level Divisions and create a quality service to our youth players. The levels covered in baseball and softball upper divisions are AAA and Coast. The frequency of games this program will accommodate will be based on the number of umpire candidates in the program.

SVLL will provide training, supervision, and a supportive environment. Youth umpires will be provided for both baseball and softball. SVLL will provide:

• Free training for those 12+ through Little League District 9 resources.
• Umpire uniform shirts and hats.
• All necessary umpire equipment.

Program Details

Our Youth Umpire program comprises boys and girls aged 12 and older who have experience playing baseball, softball or umpiring. In their first year, youth umpires umpire at the AAA levels (8, 9 and 10 year olds), then, as skills and experience grow, they move on to umpire at the Coast levels. Incentives given for each game completed.
