Information

Snoqualmie Valley Little League - Challenger Division

Challenger Division is an adaptive baseball program for boys and girls with physical and developmental challenges. Ages 5 and up are welcome!

Players are partnered with a “buddy” to assist Challenger athletes as needed. Challenger Buddies are vital to making this program a success. They help our players bat, play the field and follow the simple instructions of the game. Often buddies are peer athletes who are participating in the Little League Baseball or Softball programs. The cost of volunteering to be a buddy is FREE and we need approximately 15 kids ages 10+ to make this program successful. Deadline for registration is April 30th.

Encompass is the proud sponsor of SVLL Challenger Baseball, where flexibility, adaptability, and fun are the top priorities. All players will enjoy playing the game at their level in a low pressure environment. Players can hit from a tee or from a pitch and everyone plays defense and bats each inning. As Encompass is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, volunteer hours can be tracked as honorary roll credits.

Games will take place on Saturdays or Sundays in North Bend and Sammamish.

There are more than 900 Challenger programs around the world, spanning 10 countries, and SVLL is thrilled to be one of two leagues within District 9 to field Challenger teams.

"I always dreamed that my boys would grow up and play sports like I did. For my son Camden, autism made that dream difficult and Challenger Baseball made it a possibility." - Marsha Quinn, parent/coach/Director.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can we join this team even if we live outside of the Snoqualmie Valley Little League boundary?

A: Yes. SVLL's Challenger Division team is just one of two Challenger teams within District 9 so the boundary is extended to accommodate players from a larger area. Sammamish Little League fields the other District 9 Challenger team and families can decide which team is most convenient to play with.

Q: Should I register with SVLL or my own league?

A: Please sign up for the Challenger Division directly with SVLL by registering online here.
